At SecWise, a proud member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), we're looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our growing Cloud SOC team in Leuven. As part of our Managed SOC offering, we deliver a full-service Security Operations Center to our customers. In this engineering role, you'll go beyond monitoring—you'll design, automate, and optimize security services that make a real impact. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will: Set up and configure new customers in our SOC environment. Build workflows and integrations to streamline security operations. Optimize detection rules and create advanced threat detection logic. Explore and implement AI-driven enhancements for security processes. Contribute to new services like Vulnerability Management as a Service (VMaaS) and External Attack Surface Management (EASM). Share ideas, suggest improvements, and help shape the future of our SOC. We're looking for someone with: A degree in IT and ideally 1–2 years of experience in infrastructure or security engineering. Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and cloud security concepts. Automation & Infrastructure: Logic Apps, Terraform, Azure Security Tools: Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash Strong problem-solving skills, eager to learn and contribute. Fluent in Dutch & English, French is a plus. You are a true team player who values knowledge sharing and collective success.
