A scale-up unit is seeking a Freelance Support Professional to work as the right hand of the Business Unit Manager. This is a key operational role in a fast-moving team delivering outsourcing solutions across Belgium. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Support Lead generation, prospecting, and preparation of client-facing materials Support in client meetings, presentations, and offer creation Coordinate RFPs and tender processes CRM maintenance and pipeline tracking Assist in territory planning and business development strategy Recruitment & Sourcing / Staffing Intake of job requests and drafting profiles Sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networks Screening and interviewing talent Build and manage talent pools for ongoing and future needs Support staffing coordination alongside the Business Manager Admin & Operational Support Manage contracts, POs, compliance documents, and archiving Prepare invoices, follow up corrections and outstanding payments Track key business metrics: revenue, margin, KPIs, forecasts Optimize internal workflows, maintain documentation and checklists Profile Must-Haves 3–5 years of experience in recruitment and sales Background in HR consultancy or staffing services is a plus Strong understanding of administrative and financial processes Fluent in Dutch and French Soft Skills Proactive and communicative Solution-focused and hands-on Highly structured and detail-oriented Team player with the ability to work independently Offer Role in a growing business unit within a larger HR services environment Flexible work setup: Ghent office + homeworking Key role with direct impact and visibility Initial mission of 6 months, extension possible based on performance
