Kronos by Epsa is currently looking for a Junior Financial Controller for one of our banking clients based in Leuven. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with up to 2 years of experience to develop their expertise within a regulated banking environment.
As a Junior Financial Controller, you will support accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while working closely with senior stakeholders.
Coordinating monthly and quarterly closings , including controlling, analysis, and reporting on costs and income
Performing driver-based cost analyses and providing insights and recommendations to senior management
Preparing financial statements and ensuring reporting to financial regulators and authorities
Acting as the Single Point of Contact for external auditors and following up on open audit points
Handling ad hoc financial queries from various business lines within your scope
Up to 2 years of experience in accounting and/or cost controlling
Strong knowledge of financial reporting in a regulated environment is a plus
Fluency in Dutch and English
Quality-driven mindset
Flexible working with 2–3 days remote work per week
