Role
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high performance, availability, and capacity planning.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, supporting application deployments and upgrades.
- Implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python) to optimize routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Create and maintain system documentation, generate reports on performance, uptime, and security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams, mentor junior members, and support business objectives through effective teamwork.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years as a Linux System Administrator/Engineer, with expertise in Red Hat (RHEL preferred).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization (VMware, Proxmox).
- Skilled in Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in shell scripting and one programming language (Python, Perl), plus Ansible.
- RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+ certifications are a plus.
