Port of Antwerp-Bruges heeft een belangrijke rol in de dagelijkse werking van de haven. Zo'n 1 800 medewerkers werken dag en nacht aan een klantgerichte dienstverlening, een optimale infrastructuur, innovatieve projecten en de promotie van de haven in binnen-en buitenland. Zij zetten zich samen in om de rol van Port of Antwerp-Bruges als duurzame wereldhaven te verstevigen. Onze missie? Port of Antwerp-Bruges, thuishaven als hefboom voor een duurzame toekomst. Functieomschrijving Als project engineer ben je de drijvende kracht achter civiele water en wegenbouwprojecten in het Antwerpse havengebied, van beweegbare bruggen tot kaaimuren en steigers. Met jouw team zorg je voor een naadloze voorbereiding en uitvoering, waarbij je kwaliteit, budget en voortgang nauwlettend bewaakt en innovatie stimuleert. Jouw uitdaging Als project engineer port infrastructure bij de afdeling Port Infrastructure ben je binnen de tak 3e en 4e lijnsonderhoud de drijvende kracht voor de opvolging van een aantal civiele water en wegenbouw projecten. Deze werken situeren zich in het Antwerpse havengebied en behelzen constructies zoals beweegbare bruggen, kaaimuren, steigers, wegen … Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de grondige voorbereiding – in samenwerking met de afdeling asset management en technical tendering en de uitvoering van deze projecten. Voor deze grotere en gespecialiseerde bouwprojecten wordt beroep gedaan op externe bedrijven. Je rapporteert aan de manager Civil Projects. Een greep uit jouw boeiende en gevarieerde takenpakket : * Je bent samen met je collega project engineers verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie en coördinatie van je eigen team van een drietal personen, de werkgerelateerde communicatie met interne klanten en externe stakeholders en je garandeert zo een effectieve en efficiënte werking * Je houdt de civiele constructies in goede conditie en waakt over de gewenste beschikbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid ervan volgens de gelegde prioriteiten * Je analyseert je dossier grondig en je bepaalt mee de technische concepten en voorwaarden en je volgt zowel de voorbereidende onderzoeken als het ontwerp op * Je stelt een realistische projectplanning op en slaagt erin deze te realiseren en op te volgen * Je bewaakt hierbij de kwaliteit, het budget en de voortgang van de werken en je volgt de naleving van de genomen beslissingen op * Je detecteert en creëert opportuniteiten voor innovatie binnen je vakgebied Profiel * Je hebt een masterdiploma bij voorkeur in de richting bouwkunde / ingenieurswetenschappen of je hebt gelijkwaardige relevante werkervaring.Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring in een leidinggevende functie in een projectomgeving * Organiseren en leidinggeven zitten je in het bloed, je bent assertief en je slaagt erin je medewerkers en/of externe partner medewerkers te motiveren om steeds kwalitatief hoogstaand werk te leveren * Jouw sterktes? Je bent stressbestendig, denkt oplossingsgericht en je neemt jouw verantwoordelijkheid op.Je bent ook een vlotte communicator, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, en je slaagt erin anderen op een overtuigende manier mee te krijgen in je verhaal * Je kan vlot bouwplannen raadplegen en lezen en vindt vlot je weg in de normen die gelden voor water-, wegen en staalbouw * Durf, eenvoud en verbinding, dat zijn waarden waarin jij je helemaal kan vinden Aanbod Je kan rekenen op een gevarieerde job met stimulerende verantwoordelijkheden, plaats voor nieuwe initiatieven en opleidingsmogelijkheden.
