A well-established marine company operating within the European ship repair sector is seeking an experienced Ship Repair Estimator to support tendering and project pricing for drydock and afloat repair works.

The role is based in Antwerp , one of Europe’s key maritime and ship repair hubs, offering exposure to a wide range of commercial and specialist vessels.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of detailed cost estimates for ship repair and conversion projects
Reviewing technical specifications, class requirements, and scope of work
Liaising with production, purchasing, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing
Evaluating labour hours, materials, services, and dock costs
Supporting negotiations with owners, superintendents, and brokers
Assisting with variation pricing and post-project cost analysis
Maintaining estimating databases and historical cost records

Requirements
Proven experience as a Ship Repair Estimator or similar role within a shipyard or marine contractor
Strong understanding of ship repair processes (hull, mechanical, piping, electrical)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Fluent English required
EU passport or unrestricted right to work in Belgium
