We need you The project: Our client in the insurance sector is looking for a Functional Designer IS Life Domain Common to join their team. Main objectives: Be in charge of translating business requirements into structured IT solutions while keeping a functional approach. Help translating functional designs into well-tailored technical designs. Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements Test the product before delivery to the users Analyse and/or propose potential corrective actions to be taken. Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs. Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation Is this you? Experience with Application Development of Administrative systems in a large IT department Web based Client/Server systems with Microfocus back-end (Cobol / SQL Server) Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people Strong understanding of source code Cobol and SQL databases Mastering of MS-office tools Data modelling experience Batch process and scheduling experience Cobol/SQL programming experience .NET; SQL Server Functional analysis IT solution design on large scale projects Organised and structured Agile & Waterfall project methodology Insurance or banking domain Life Insurance How afarax supports you?
