Prevention Officer

Prevention Officer Level II We ARE Renewables is looking for a Prevention Officer Level II for one of our clients based in Antwerp. Responsibilities: Manage and monitor the QHSE management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Conduct internal and external audits, including preparation, follow-up, and corrective actions. Coordinate the internal prevention and emergency response teams (BHV). Maintain registers such as Risk Inventory, Environmental Aspects, and Chemical Substances (REACH/CLP). Support the preparation of the global prevention plan and annual action plan. Perform risk analyses, investigate incidents, and implement preventive measures. Provide safety instructions to new employees and organize toolbox meetings. Advise on workplace organization, hygiene, use of protective equipment, and emergency procedures. Collaborate with external partners and the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW). Requirements: Diploma as Prevention Advisor Level II (Level II Prevention Officer). VCA VOL certificate is a strong plus. Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial or technical environment. Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Excellent organizational and administrative abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and engage effectively with colleagues at all levels. Location: Antwerp Type: Staff position
