Senior Manager Valuation

- Preparation of valuation models for Group's portfolio companies
- Be the secondary individual responsible for updating and maintaining the business model of the company (Excel based)
- Work closely with the Asset Management team to analyse the performance of portfolio investments to:
- Support the preparation of internal and external reporting for:
- Support the FX hedging process
- Support or take ownership of the due diligence, financial analysis, risk analysis and mitigation in the acquisition process
- Participate in creating and shaping the investment case(s) which are presented to the Investment Committee
- Liaise with other team members and external advisors
- 4 to 8 years’ experience in valuations and financial modelling, an understanding of the infrastructure sector and project finance would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills; ability to build / understand complex financial models is essential; strong MS Excel skills are a must
- Highly proficient in interrogating and analysing financial models which have been prepared by others, and comfortable with adapting / manipulating them
- High level of integrity and dependability, results-orientation with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent communication, writing, and financial analysis skills
- An ability to present ideas effectively and persuasively
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic multicultural environment where everyone is expected to balance multiple roles and commitments
- Entrepreneurial team player, being capable of assuming responsibility in small teams and working individually, willing and able to work long hours when necessary
- Finance degree, CFA qualification would be desirable
- Interact on a personal level with all staff while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Be professional and courteous
- Highest level of ethical standards, integrity, professionalism and judgment
- Willingness to help co-workers and share job and/or systems knowledge
- Help provide coverage during absence of team members
- Participate in and actively contribute to special projects when requested
- Take a proactive position in offering suggestions to enhance efficiency, quality and productivity
