We are looking for a Strategic Buyer to handle complex public purchasing activities in line with Belgian regulations. This role involves managing complete tender procedures while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and legal experts to support sound purchasing decisions.
Manage public procurement procedures from initial preparation to final award.
Draft tender specifications and ensure correct execution of procurement steps.
Review submitted offers and document evaluations and final decisions.
Provide advice to internal stakeholders and support contract implementation.
Coordinate with procurement colleagues and legal specialists throughout the process.

What we expect from you:

~5+ years of experience in public procurement roles and a relevant degree.
~ Strong knowledge of Belgian public procurement legislation.
~ Fluent Dutch and English.
~ Proven experience handling complex procurement files, with added value from e-procurement tools and professional English skills.
