Chief Accountant – Virtual Currency – Prime Location

We are looking, on behalf of one of our client, an accountant chief.Our client is a company created ten years ago and specialized in virtual money emission. They work mostly on the gambling and money games, as well as cryptocurrency. Initially, the company was created in France, but quickly moved to Luxembourg. They are now also based in multiple other European country and still growing.One of the co-owner of this company formerly worked as the group CFO, but now wants to delegate his responsibilities. In that sense, he is looking for a chief accountant to guide the remaining accounting team member.

Your Responsibilities | Management – Data •As an accountant chief, you will be the person responsible for the global computability of the company.
•You will act as a leader, providing guidance to the accountants, and working in symbiosis with the company’s financial controller
•You will supervise the work of other team members, and make sure that all financial information are correct

Profile and Career Path | Management – Data •At this role, the motivation and mindset will be more relevant than a typical professional path.
•You will definitely need at least 5 years of experience in accounting, either in fiduciaries, or as an internal accountant in multiple different companies
•Having worked in the digital currency sector will definitely be a big plus, but a real interest and motivation to work in this sector is more than enough
•The most important quality is proactivity, as the owner is looking for, on the long run, someone able to acte as the group CFO.
