Voor een innovatieve speler binnen de procesindustrie zoeken we een ervaren Mechanical Engineer die technisch sterk is én houdt van pionieren in een snel evoluerende omgeving. Functie-informatie: Als Mechanical Engineer word je een sleutelfiguur binnen het kernteam dat instaat voor het ontwerpen, engineeren en operationeel opvolgen van geavanceerde installaties op industriële schaal. Je werkt nauw samen met collega-ingenieurs en operators om installaties veilig en betrouwbaar te laten draaien, en om continu verbeteringen door te voeren. Concreet zal je je bezighouden met: Mechanisch ontwerp en specificatie van apparatuur, inclusief ondersteuning bij aankoop en beoordeling van technische documentatie van contractors en leveranciers. Opvolging van leveranciers op vlak van kwaliteit, kost en planning. Analyse en technische-commerciële onderhandelingen tijdens aanbestedingen en contracttoewijzingen. Advies verlenen rond warmtekrachtinstallaties met uiteenlopende groottes en complexiteit. Actieve betrokkenheid bij testen, supervisie van montage en commissioning van mechanische systemen. Evalueren van prestaties, onderhoudsbehoeften en resterende levensduur van bestaande installaties. Effectief communiceren met projectteams en stakeholders. Functie-eisen: Master in Mechanical Engineering en minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring. Vlotte kennis van MS Project is essentieel. Ervaring met grafiet is een mooi pluspunt. Flexibel, hands-on en snel kunnen schakelen. Sterke analytische, communicatieve en probleemoplossende vaardigheden (Nederlands en Engels). Kennis van AutoCAD of andere CAD-software is een plus. Goed georganiseerd en in staat meerdere taken parallel te beheren. Proactieve attitude en het vermogen om zonder formele autoriteit impact te maken.
