Job Title: Enterprise Architect Language: English, French Location: 4000 Liege, Belgium Duration: 05/01/2026-30/06/2026 Work Mode: Hybrid ( 2 or 3 onsite/week) Work regime: Full time Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities We are looking for an Enterprise Architect, preferably specializing in SAP-related architectures. They will help us develop the architecture required for the various projects in the 2026 roadmap. They will also be responsible for managing some (small) SAP-related projects, for approximately 40% of their time. Enterprise Architecture: The Enterprise Architect ensures alignment between the company's strategy and the Business, Application, and Data layers of the architecture. They ensure that IT directions and the evolution of applications and infrastructure are consistent in the long term, based on the organization's needs and objectives. They create, maintain, and reassess procedural standards, architectural documents for application/infrastructure links, and related documentation. They define and maintain technological standards in collaboration with the IT team leaders. Application Architecture: Application architecture design; Maintaining application architecture documentation in the architecture repository chosen (Abacus); Maintaining an up-to-date, consolidated, and communicable macro view of all information systems via the Enterprise portal of the enterprise architecture solution; Monitoring, commenting on, and evaluating the impact of all fundamental architecture changes; Communicating the functional architecture to relevant stakeholders. Business Architecture: Supporting the process modeling team in their tasks; Ensuring the provision of a metamodel of the architecture that integrates all its business and IT dimensions; With the help of the business architect: agreeing with the process team on adaptations to be made to the architecture repository in terms of processes and organization based on roadmap projects, and verifying the conformity of encoded data. Data Architecture: Ensuring, with the help of the data architect, the provision and maintenance of a data model adapted to our needs; Integrate the business and technical data model with the BI team as much as possible. Common architectures with other DSOs (as needed): Participation in synergy workshops between DSOs, as needed (Synergrid, etc.); Sharing of architectures and exchange of best practices with other DSOs. Link with the infrastructure: Ensure liaison with the IT Infrastructure team for the implementation of the ad-hoc infrastructure in relation to software needs and their interconnections; The technical inventory of the infrastructure will be entered into a CMBD-type application by the infrastructure team. Project Management: Act as project manager for one or two SAP projects. These projects will be managed using our methodology, the details of which (templates, stages, governance, documentation, etc.) will be provided at the start of the assignment. These will be small projects, for which a full-time equivalent (FTE) is not justified.
