This position will play a critical role in managing the financial activities of the company as it expands. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to help drive business decisions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.
Manage the financial aspects of acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration into existing financial systems.
Assist in preparing and filing tax returns and ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
Support the Finance Manager in preparing reports for Management and stakeholders.
Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Proven experience as an accountant (2 years +) , preferably in a dynamic or growing company.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Fluent in Dutch; English or French would be great. Knowledge of both French and Dutch is a strong plus.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
