Join a dynamic I&O team managing operational databases that power critical IT applications This is a hands-on role combining production support, data governance, cloud migration, and automation. What You'll Do ️ Administer and maintain SQL databases (system & application DBA tasks) in a 24/7 on-call environment Support data modelling, governance, and production query corrections for developers Participate in integration and migration projects, including cloud and NoSQL pilots (MongoDB) Coach juniors, guide seniors, and collaborate with experts on technical strategy and architecture Automate manual processes using SSIS, PowerShell, DevOps tools, and AI for best practice validation Help replicate on-premise database concepts in the cloud and adopt data mesh principles Present technical solutions to management and provide leadership within the team Who You Are Experienced SQL DBA (system & application) Skilled with SQL Server, Oracle, and operational database support Strong in data modelling, governance, and release management Hands-on with automation, DevOps, and cloud migration A mentor and team player, able to coach juniors and collaborate with multiple teams Knowledge of Redgate tools is a plus Why This Role Rocks Work on major transformation projects and cutting-edge technologies Combine hands-on DBA work with leadership and mentoring Gain experience in cloud, automation, and modern data governance Join a collaborative, high-impact team shaping the future of operational databases
