Functional Analyst | migration | insurance Non-Life
Location: Berchem, BE, hybrid work - 2 days a week in the office
Contract type: ZZP freelance contract
Contract duration: 10 months
Start date: ASAP
Hours per week: fulltime
As a Functional Analyst you will get the opportunity to work on the most challenging migration project. Our goal sounds simple, but is challenging on all aspects and we’d love you to help us take this even further.
Tasks
Analyze source systems and data structures to identify migration needs
Define, together with the stakeholders, the requirements (functional and technical) for migration
Document and specify the migration processes, risks and mitigation strategies
Provide support during mapping, transformation and testing of the data
On a functional level, support the development teams to validate migration logic and test outcomes
Ensure alignment with business rules and compliance standards
Stay on top of the project together with the users, developers, architects, project managers/Scrum masters and the rest of the team, during the migration process
Profile and experience
Proactive and hands-on professional who anticipates needs and takes swift action to deliver results.
Excels at breaking down complex problems and identifying smart, practical solutions that align with business goals.
Be eager to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them.
Be open to receiving constructive feedback.
Experience
The ideal candidate should:
Have proven experience as a Functional Analyst in integration projects in a multi component landscape (including both modern and legacy applications and infrastructure)
Strong understanding of insurance products Non-Life and lifecycle
Experience in the finance industry is a plus
Knowledge of data migration tools, ETL processes and SQL
Languages : Dutch & English: Very good (spoken & written)
