Your role in our team
As our Senior Network and Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing network-related projects and managing our IT infrastructure. Your key tasks will include:
- Maintaining our IT infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN, offices, DC, VPN, DNS, FW)
- Managing support tickets and providing second and third-line support
- Ensuring adherence to infrastructure standards and governance principles
- Proposing and implementing improvements for network and security
- Validating infrastructure and network deliverables in projects
- Coordinating with on/offshore third parties for complex issues
- Designing and deploying solutions to meet business requirements
- Contributing to RFI/RFP writing and documentation creation
The ideal candidate will have
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in network and network security
- Expertise in MPLS technology, LAN/MAN/WAN technologies, and routing protocols
- Experience with firewalls, proxies, NAC, DNS, and load balancing
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) and SDWAN/SASE
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with various monitoring tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Fluency in English, good knowledge of French, and Dutch as an asset
