Supply Chain Specialist

You analyze and optimize procurement needs as assigned by the Head of Purchasing .
You maintain continuous contact with internal business partners (the maintenance & project technicians and engineers) to anticipate their procurement needs.
You are in charge of the procurement process:
# Conduct tenders, negotiate terms & conditions, and implement contracts.
# Ensure proper setup of purchase orders and assist in discussions with suppliers in case of issues with delivery or execution of the works;
# You participate in status and team meetings, support local supplier management activities, and facilitate issue resolution with Accounting and Business.
You speak Dutch and English . If your French is not fluent enough you are ready to invest yourself in becoming up to speed (courses are paid by ENGIE)
You understand that you can only develop a business partnership by being physically there where the power plants and your Business Partners are (port of Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Brussels area) and flexible to visit (occasionally) suppliers.
