As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the tax-related activities of the firm. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, providing strategic tax planning advice, and managing client relationships effectively. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing tax strategies and minimizing liabilities for our esteemed clients. Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for clients.
Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, including international tax, corporate tax, and VAT.
Conduct tax research and stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations.
Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits and disputes.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in tax-related tasks.
Native German speaker with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Taxation, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
Professional certification such as Steuerberater (German Tax Advisor) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a tax advisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of German tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven track record in managing tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
