As the Cyber Security Architect, you will be a technical leader that will be the main interface between cyber security and network engineering teams at our customers. You will develop and maintain the standards for cyber security across the infrastructure of our customer, whether it is on-premise or in the cloud. You will evaluate the security of new initiatives and significant changes within their environment. As the threat landscape is continuously changing, you will have to identify risks in the existing architecture and to propose cyber security control improvements. You will assist with the prioritization and implementation of corrective actions to improve cyber security controls. You will be part of the Cyber Trust team with more than 50 people in Belgium, exchanging insights and knowledge, “ensuring a secure IT environment protecting the business goals”. The person we are looking for combines the qualities of a good communicator and an expert in the domains of Cyber Security. Minimum 5-10 years hand-on experience in IT and/or Security.
Good understanding of security concepts (Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud computing, SIEM solutions, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM and PAM, …).
Solid understanding of business strategy, risk, regulation, and technical constraints Influence organizational response to cyber security.
Awareness of architectural methodologies and frameworks (SABSA, TOGAF, …) and good understanding of compliance framework (ISO27001, NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, GDPR, OWASP, …)
Experience in developing, contributing and management of Security Architecture Specifications, Security Architecture Analysis, Security Requirements, Security Standards and Design Patterns, Reference Architectures, Security Strategies, threat-modeling and risk assessment.
Master’s degree in computer science/Engineer/Cyber Security or relevant work experience in IT Security.
CISSP, ISO27001, CompTIA Security+ or SANS certification are required. You have a passion for Cyber Security, being the basic ingredient of success.
You are a team player and have the talent to cooperate with colleagues in a changing and fast evolving environment.
You are a self-starter, pro-active and you take initiative.
You are creative, have a critical mind and you like to think out-of-the-box, with focus on solutions rather than problems.
You are prepared to constantly keep your knowledge up to date, follow trainings or through self-study.
You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have a good working knowledge of English
