Je ziet het, werken bij De Lijn is meer dan een 'gewone' job. Je organiseert de werkvloer en samen met je team bewaak je de voortgang van het werk. Hiermee leveren jij en je team jullie visitekaartje af aan onze reizigers. De staat van onze voertuigen weerspiegelt de jobfierheid van jullie team. Uiteraard communiceer en werk je ook dagelijks samen met collega's van andere diensten (zoals Supply Chain, andere werkplaatsteams, onderhoudscentrum,…) om een goed verloop van de werkzaamheden te garanderen.
Je geeft leiding aan de medewerkers van je teams. Je verzekert de dagelijkse taakverdeling en aansturing van het team. Je zorgt dat er voldoende werkmiddelen zijn, je volgt de werkzaamheden op en biedt oplossingen bij technische vragen of problemen.
· Je staat in voor de kwaliteitscontrole en zorgt ervoor dat de geldende veiligheids- en milieuvoorschriften nageleefd worden.
· Je doet het technisch nazicht van de ongevallen en maakt een schatting van de beschadigde onderdelen en de benodigde herstellingstijd.
· Je houdt je eigen deskundigheid up-to-date, door het bestuderen van ontwikkelingen en het volgen van opleiding.
· Met een coachende aanpak zoek en denk je samen met het team naar oplossingen. 
Je bent sterk in plannen en organiseren en kan goed overweg met courante en specifieke software.
Bachelordiploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
· Je hebt affiniteit met de deeldomeinen (o.a. carrosserie) waar je als operationeel leidinggevende verantwoordelijk voor bent, praktische ervaring is een pluspunt.
