Project Engineer

The Project Engineer supports the transition of technical solutions from design to production. In this role, you will develop structured engineering documentation while ensuring designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with production needs. You will interact with multiple stakeholders, including production, purchasing, and engineering teams. Part of your responsibility is to support operational decision-making through system data and supplier coordination.
- Create and maintain AutoCAD-based designs for racks, cabling, and mechanical assemblies
- Manage engineering data and costs of materials within an ERP system
- Define and document test methods and work instructions for production teams
- Support cost evaluations and participate in supplier discussions and price negotiations
- Improve production readiness through training, documentation standardization, and process optimization.
What We Expect From You:
- Degree in a technical field such as electromechanics, electronics, or mechatronics
- Master degree or Bachelor with relevant experience with AutoCAD tools and structured technical documentation; experience documenting and designing technical components
- Familiarity with ERP systems and basic commercial or cost-awareness principles
- Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage
