Amberes is partnering with a PE-backed, award-winning SaaS company, backed by one of the top 10 global private equity firms. This is the first position of its kind in Europe for this position. In this position, you will manage the full lifecycle of contract negotiation and legal support, ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and foster strong relationships with customers and internal teams (mainly Sales, Marketing, and other customer-facing colleagues). Contract Negotiation & Management:
Lead negotiations on non-standard contracts, working directly with customer legal teams or procurement staff to achieve mutually acceptable terms.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on contract-related matters, ensuring timely review and resolution of variations.
Assist in the development and enforcement of company-wide contract policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, including correspondence, key contacts, amendments, and status reports.
Provide guidance to project managers and other internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, compliance, and risk management.
Support the Finance team in ensuring alignment with financial policies, including insurance and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to internal training initiatives to enhance contract management knowledge across the business.
Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise to strengthen the overall legal function.
Must be Fluent in French
~4+ years of experience in contract negotiation, procurement, or legal support, ideally within the software or technology sector.
~ Strong understanding of contract law and risk mitigation strategies + GDPR
