Cost Accountant

Cost Accounting:
Play a key role in the new item setup process and evaluate routing, purchasing, and other information impacting systematic cost calculations.
Perform month-end close tasks related to work order closures, variance accounting, manufacturing cost analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
Collaborate with the Operations team to support lean initiatives by analyzing relevant data and understanding manufacturing process impacts on costs and inventory.
Identify inaccuracies in inventory or cost of sales transactions and work with relevant teams to mitigate risks.
General Accounting:
Support the monthly closing process, including account analysis and reconciliation.
Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management.
Proficiency in records management and computer applications.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience.
~3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
~ Familiarity with cost reduction strategies and financial analysis.
~ Proficiency in spreadsheet software and ERP systems.
International accounting experience.
Knowledge of process improvement techniques and methods.
Exposure to Salesforce and RootStock.
