Functie Als Reliability and Systems Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het mee uitbouwen van DevOps-praktijken voor de ontwikkeling en exploitatie van de door software aangestuurde systemen voor de versneller- en protonentarget-inrichtingen. Deze activiteiten moeten in het verlengde liggen van de processen waar mogelijk gebruik maken van bestaande diensten. Je beheert ook de invoering, configuratie en exploitatie van deze systemen. Hiervoor rapporteer je aan de DevOps Team Leader en werk je zeer nauw samen met projectingenieurs, externe partners en de Information and Communication Technology- (ICT) afdeling. definieer continue integratie-pipelines/toolchains om software te bouwen, te verpakken, te testen, vrij te geven en uit te rollen beheer de invoering, configuratie en exploitatie (onderhoud, monitoring, back-up en herstel) van de ontwikkelingsdiensten stem de interne processen, policies en tools af met externe ontwikkelingspartners stel richtlijnen en trainingsmateriaal op coach en train gebruikers, voornamelijk software- en elektronica-ingenieurs draag bij aan het opstellen van eisen en ontwerpen voor operationele ICT-diensten Functie-eisen masterdiploma in software-engineering, informatica of gelijkwaardige praktijkervaring 5 jaar relevante werkervaring systeembeheer, bij voorkeur Linux- (RHEL-) systemen netwerkbeheer - routing, switching, Firewalling authenticatie en autorisatie (AD, LDAP, Kerberos) systeem- en Hardware-monitoringtools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Icinga, Monitornow, ) je kan scripts schrijven in PowerShell, Bash en Python kennis van basispraktijken voor netwerken en beveiliging je bent proactief en geïnteresseerd in het ontwerpen en onderhouden van heterogene systemen je hebt mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van het Engels en je kan technische teksten opstellen en reviseren.
