QA/PA Manager Damia Group is partnering with an innovative company at the forefront of next-generation in providing satellite agility solutions. As QA/PA engineer you will be in charge of designing and implementing a comprehensive quality management system (QMS). This includes overseeing processes from product development to manufacturing, as well as support functions to guarantee customer satisfaction. You will also establish the right governances to effectively manage these processes. You will support the manufacturing team in maintaining a clean, lean and efficient work environment. You will also build sustainable relationships with suppliers by improving internal processes and conducting audits when necessary. To ensure product and process performance, you will define and implement the appropriate metrics and control strategies. Additionally, you will make sure the QMS is clearly documented and well understood by employees through creation of targeted documentation and training systems. Responsibilities Support the manufacturing team in maintaining a clean, lean and efficient work environment. Build sustainable relationships with suppliers by improving internal processes and conducting audits when necessary. Define and implement the appropriate metrics and control strategies to ensure product and process performance. Ensure the QMS is clearly documented and well understood by employees through creation of targeted documentation and training systems. Qualifications You have a Degree in engineering or equivalent through experience. Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the space sector. Required Skills Proven experience with systems engineering approaches and industry best practices. Experience in Lean culture. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to drive change through effective stakeholder management and influencing. High attention to detail combined with the capability to maintain a strategic, high-level overview. Willingness and confidence to speak up and challenge when necessary. Effective active listening skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives. Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch considered an asset. Desirable Understanding of systems engineering lifecycles, especially in the space sector. Experience in EEE selection and documentation. Expertise in implementing & maintaining traceability of components. Experience in auditing of subcontractors. Background in an ISO 9001-certified organization. Space system qualification experience.
