Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a Payroll Admin with 3/5 years of experience, project based (3-6 months contract) . We are two companies under the same roof - Essensium (product company) and Mind (embedded Linux consultancy). We are solid and healthy companies with brilliant people, flat no-nonsense culture, with an international and scale-up type of environment (57 employees in total) where you can learn a lot.
You will be working closely together with the Finance Director and CEO helping with payroll and administrative processes for both companies. Location : you live close to Leuven, at commutable distance to our office in Heverlee
Contract type: freelance or temporary contract
Office/remote: we expect you to work from the office 3 days per week, 2 days from home
Can be part time (3-4 days per week).
Languages : English and Dutch is a must, French is nice to have. Though English is the main communication language for both companies, payroll related documentation is both in Dutch and English. Therefore English and Dutch is a hard must at a good written level. French is nice to have and enough on a conversational level - to communicate with some customers.
Background: We are looking for someone with strong experience in Belgian payroll: 3-5 years in payroll and fin tasks (invoicing)
~ Proper written and oral communications skills in Dutch and English, good conversational French.


Payroll
Manage permanent employees (57) and freelance contracts
Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Work in close cooperation with our payroll partner
Being a contact person for colleagues when they have payroll questions
Coordinate with our insurance agencies
