Voor de ICT dienst zoeken we een gedreven Software Engineer die samen met ons de zorg naar een hoger niveau tilt. Maak deel uit van ons team en bouw mee aan zorg die inspireert

Als Java Software Engineer werk je in een groot team aan de verdere uitbouw van Primuz, het Elektronisch Patiënten Dossier van het UZ Brussel.

Primuz wordt door zorgverleners gebruikt om medische en administratieve gegevens van patiënten te registreren en te raadplegen, en is essentieel in het zorgproces.

Onze technische omgeving is gebaseerd op marktstandaarden zoals OO design, Design Patterns en Java. Primuz bestaat uit een multi-tier Java applicatie met een Swing desktop client en een JEE applicatieserver.

Het developmentteam volgt Agile principes om continu nieuwe functionaliteit toe te voegen aan Primuz.

Als Software Engineer op de ICT dienst draag jij niet alleen bij tot kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening, maar ook aan de warme, persoonlijke benadering waar UZ Brussel bekend om staat.

Je ontwikkelt kwalitatief goede Java code.

Je werkt mee aan de implementatie van nieuwe functionaliteiten en aan de implementatie van en interfacing met externe pakketten.

Je test de opgeleverde code en documenteert dit proces.

Je staat in voor de continue opvolging en het beheer van de ontwikkelde software

We zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste Software Engineer die zichzelf herkent in volgende eigenschappen:

Passie voor Software: je beschikt over een master- of bachelordiploma in ICT gerelateerde richting, liefst gecombineerd met enige ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie, maar dit is geen vereiste.

Nederlands is de voertaal binnen UZ Brussel, en het is belangrijk dat je deze taal vlot beheerst. Daarnaast heb je ook een goede kennis van het Engels.

Ervaring: je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring in Java development.

Tools: je hebt kennis van J2EE, Hibernate, Java Swing en/of Vaadin. Teamplayer: je bent bereid om binnen een team verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen voor de taken en projecten die aan jou werden toevertrouwd.

Contract op maat: Een voltijds contract van onbepaalde duur - Deze functie is niet toegankelijk op freelance basis.
