Senior General Ledger Accountant Join a dynamic and international company as a Senior General Ledger Accountant
This strategic role, reporting to the Finance Manager Europe, offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in managing and optimizing financial processes while collaborating with multicultural teams.
Maintain accurate and complete general ledger accounts in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation in line with internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurate.
Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax filings.
Coordinate with auditors for assigned entities during the annual audit process.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist with ad-hoc requests, such as the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Mentor junior accounting staff and serve as a backup when needed.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting within a multinational, ideally industrial, environment.
SAP, Oracle, Odoo) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
