For our client, a rapidly growing global organization within the life sciences and clinical research sector, we are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury . The organization recently expanded significantly through a strategic merger and continues to scale under a buy-and-build growth strategy supported by a global healthcare investor.
Reporting to the Group CFO, the Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity, compliance, and liquidity management of more than 20 legal entities worldwide, working closely with and leading a team of over 14 finance professionals.
Accounting & Reporting
Overseeing accurate and timely financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAPs
Leading group consolidation, financial reporting and audit coordination
Tax
Lead global tax strategy, compliance, and planning.
Coordinate with external advisors and internal teams on direct and indirect tax matters.
Assessing tax implications of international business decisions
Managing global liquidity, cash flow, and banking relationships
Overseeing FX, hedging, and treasury risk management
Leading and developing a multinational team of 14+ finance professionals
Supporting M&A initiatives, ERP evolution, and cross-border structuring
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; 10+ years’ experience in accounting, tax, and treasury in a multinational environment
~ Strong expertise in international tax, treasury, and consolidation
~ Leadership experience in cross-functional and cross-regional teams
~ Experience in high-growth or post-acquisition settings is an asset
~ Fluent English (Dutch is a plus)
High flexibility and autonomy within a remote-friendly structure
An international footprint with strong scientific mission and societal relevance
