We see it as our mission to create more efficient and sustainable supply chains in collaboration with our customers. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for leading the engineering function of the Bornem site and ensure the plant equipment and services are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
Other main responsibility is to provide technical support and mentoring to the maintenance team and carry out breakdown repair and review preventative maintenance systems. Also usage of data to drive plant improvements and provide engineering support for capex projects belong to every day reality of this role.
** Manage maintenance issues and delegate resources to the right skills in the team or external resources as required.
Provide support to engineering project team as required.
Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities.
Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems.
Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Facilities management
Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
Support the process of the installation of new machinery and equipment and drawing up the specification.
Undertake continuous training and development of self and team.
Provide technical expertise to the team.
Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
Fluency in DUTCH and ENGLISH

~ Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
~ Competency in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
~ Commercial awareness and management of maintenance budgets.
~ Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, legislative standards, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
~ Support encourage and develop team and take ownership for team cohesion.
