We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to support a large-scale European IT initiative within a European Organization based in Brussels. The role focuses on defining, governing, and coordinating enterprise and cloud architecture across complex, interoperable information systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and European IT governance frameworks.
Provide architectural guidance and support on system architecture and system processes in close collaboration with the contractor and internal stakeholders.
Define and contribute to strategies aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and sustainability of IT operations.
Design, review, and maintain enterprise and cloud architecture blueprints, technical designs, and architecture documentation.
Analyse and oversee the integration of multiple information systems and data sources.
Perform data analysis and data modelling activities to support architectural decisions.
Produce and maintain high-quality software and system architecture documentation.
Support activities related to testing, technical analysis, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.
Design and develop cloud architecture components and reusable building blocks.
Review the architecture of existing systems and support cloud migration initiatives.
Master’s Degree or equivalent (minimum 5 years of higher education).
Knowledge of Archimate modelling language.
Strong understanding of microservices-based and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with cloud architecture design, cloud migration, and hybrid environments.
Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning integration, architecture governance frameworks, and MLOps concepts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quality-assurance mindset.
Proven ability to produce clear, structured, and high-quality technical documentation.
Fluency in English (C2 level), both written and spoken.
High level of discretion and integrity, due to handling of personal and confidential data.
