As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex, large-scale Renewable Energy projects from start to finish, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work across multiple sites, coordinating diverse teams and managing stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance are met.
Project Oversight: Lead and manage multiple mid to large-scale solar PV projects simultaneously, ensuring successful project delivery across various sites.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related stakeholders, including site managers, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers.
Budget & Timeline Management: Ensure all projects stay within the approved budget and timeline, while maintaining the agreed scope and quality standards.
Provide clear, timely, and accurate updates on project progress, financial status, and potential risks to all stakeholders.
Procurement & Resource Management: Oversee the procurement process for subcontractors, labor, and materials, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of resources.
Risk Management: Identify and address potential project risks early, developing effective mitigation strategies.
Provide technical input on project feasibility, contract reviews, and commercial activities to ensure the successful execution of solar installations.
Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning phase, ensuring installations meet all performance and safety standards.
Project Handover: Ensure smooth transition of completed projects to the asset management and services teams, with full documentation and operational processes in place.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record in the solar or renewable energy sector.
Experience managing large-scale, complex industrial projects, particularly within heavy industrial sites.
Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems, including layout design, energy production calculations, and medium-to-high voltage (MV and HV) systems.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in ERP systems for financial and budget management, as well as MS Office and project management software.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and French is highly preferred.
VCA-VOL certified.
Autonomy & Responsibility: Gain a high degree of autonomy in managing projects while being part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.
