Position Overview: The Product Manager for the Postpaid Category is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of postpaid products, including the operational roadmap and services. You will lead operational strategic projects in collaboration with the Project Manager and work closely with technical, operations, legal & regulatory, customer care, marketing, and sales teams to drive product success and achieve business objectives. This role requires strong coordination with the local product team to align on business requirements.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch and post-launch performance, ensuring products meet market demands and business goals.
Lead and manage the delivery of the strategic operational roadmap. Work closely with the Project Manager to implement and deploy the roadmap.
Product Specifications: Define detailed product requirements and specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and operations to ensure accurate and efficient product development.
Collaboration and Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between various departments (marketing, sales, customer service, technical teams) to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
Review end-to-end customer journey stages to ensure the product is fit for go-to-market (GTM) from a technical perspective. Collaborate with the Props Manager to sign off each journey stage for all channels.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success, making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and profitability.
Regularly communicate product status, updates, and strategic plans to senior management and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
Product Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing the full lifecycle of products, particularly within telecommunications or a related industry.
Analytical and Data-Driven: Excellent analytical skills with a strong capability to interpret complex data, draw insights, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
Project Management Skills: Strong project management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them on time and within budget.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment across departments.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and address complex product challenges.
Customer Feedback Utilization: Proficiency in gathering and leveraging customer feedback and usage data to inform product improvements and development.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related role within the telecommunications industry or a similar field.
Demonstrated success in developing and managing product propositions, with measurable results.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in product management or marketing are a plus.
