Functie
Als Mechanical Product Engineer speel je een sleutelrol in de ontwikkeling van mechanische producten voor geavanceerde batterijsystemen. Hieronder alvast een greep uit jouw takenpakket:
Jij wordt verantwoordelijk voor het gehele mechanische ontwerpproces, van concept tot serieproductie, inclusief de coördinatie met externe leveranciers en consultancy bureaus.
Je vertaalt technische eisen naar praktische, robuust en efficiënte ontwerpen, zorgt voor de behuizing, thermische huishouding, explosieveiligheid, en brandveiligheid van de producten.
Je werkt nauw samen met de electrical engineers binnen het team.
Je streeft voortdurend naar onderhoudsvriendelijke en innovatieve oplossingen en draagt bij aan de product roadmap van de organisatie.
Je zorgt ervoor dat de producten technisch performant zijn, maar ook praktisch, schaalbaar en betrouwbaar in de dagelijkse toepassing.
Je houdt de balans tussen kostenefficiëntie, duurzaamheid en productiekwaliteit binnen je ontwerp.
Je rapporteert aan de zaakvoerders over de voortgang en technische keuzes binnen de productontwikkeling.
Profiel
Als Mechanical Product Engineer voldoe je grotendeels aan onderstaande vereisten:
Idealiter 5 tot 10 jaar ervaring in mechanisch productontwerp en -ontwikkeling.
Master industrieel ingenieur elektromechanica, productontwerp,... Of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
Ervaring met 3D ontwerppakketten zoals Solidworks of Inventor voor ontwerp en detailengineering
Aantoonbare ervaring in machinebouw, metaalbewerking en aanverwant.
Je kan technische eisen vertalen naar een doordacht ontwerp.
Beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal.
Ervaring en/of interesse in het aansturen van externe partners en leveranciers.
Ervaring met thermische huishouding en materiaalkeuzes is een plus.
Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en vermogen om technische aspecten duidelijk te verwoorden
Teamplayer die graag wil bijdragen aan de energietransitie en de groei van een duurzame scale-up.
Aanbod
Als Mechanical Product Engineer kan je onderstaande zaken verwachten:
~ Maandsalaris tussen €3500 en €4500, afhankelijk van jouw ervaring.
~ Extralegale voordelen zoals bedrijfswagen met tankkaart/laadpas, maaltijdcheques, ecocheques, hospitalisatieverzekering, thuiswerkvergoeding.
~1 dag per week thuiswerk mogelijk.
~40-uren werkweek met 12 ADV dagen en vrij te kiezen verlof.
