Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced test analyst for a project at the Flemish government. Dutch is required. We are not looking for a leader or an executor, but a test analyst who can describe a test based on functional analyses.
In the role of test analyst, you monitor the quality of our applications in a QA process that focuses on testing, reviewing & monitoring.
Your duties include:
- Develop and set up the test strategy and planning in order to organize and realize the test projects
- Reviewing analysis documents
- Defining test cases
- Executing test cases and interpreting test executions
- Functional review of user stories
- Reviewing automated test cases
- Provide support for acceptance testing
- Coordinate the test environment to ensure the availability of the material resources required for the test project
- Actively collaborate with the project manager, test coordinator and/or management to ensure smooth communication regarding the integration of the test project into the overall project and in compliance with the company's quality strategy
- Propose and defend the chosen test strategy
- Preparing and managing test reports
- Represent the "quality" values of the Test Competency Center within the project teams
- Coaching developers in test automation
- Coaching analysts to ensure testability
- Consult with the test competency center
Profile
- Knowledge of test methodologies, tasks and processes. Possession of ISTQB foundation or advanced certificate(s) is a plus.
- Be familiar with using a test management tool, e.g. Testlink.
- Be familiar with using an issue & project management tool, e.g. Jira.
- Be familiar with using a content laboratory tool, e.g. confluence.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as SOAPui, RESTassured, Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, Spring boot test.
- Basic knowledge of development practices & test paradigms such as continuous integration & TDD.
- Basic knowledge of UML / BPMN.
- Basic knowledge of Java.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Basic knowledge of git / svn.
