As our HSE Manager (Health, Safety & Environment) , you will define, implement, and continuously improve the site’s HSE strategy. This is a standalone role for a passionate HSE manager who thrives in a production environment and wants to contribute to a zero-incident, safety-first culture within the food manufacturing sector.
As Prevention Advisor (HSE):
Build and strengthen HSE awareness by coaching, training, inspiring, and engaging employees at all levels.
Deliver internal training (First Aid, fire safety, workplace safety, well-being).
Oversee safety compliance during technical projects, including contractor management and “working with third parties” procedures.
Monitor environmental and safety KPIs for the Belgian site and support improvement proposals at group level.
A Master’s degree (preferably Electromechanics) and certified Prevention Advisor Level 2 or Level 1 .
Experience in the food industry (bakery/viennoiserie) is a strong plus.
Fluent in Dutch and French .
A creative, engaging approach to promoting safety and motivating others.
A result-driven mindset with strong skills in developing action plans and HSE processes.
Team-oriented with excellent influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
