Besides the consulting part, VALKUREN's tool RP4PL is able to provide reliable prediction for product lifetime and root cause analysis and our DT4Marketing is optimizing the budget for Marketing department.

The Data Scientist at VALKUREN will design and deploy machine learning solutions, develop Python-based microservices, and work with complex data models using graph and NoSQL databases. Key responsibilities include extracting and analyzing metadata from various content, translating business needs into algorithms, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-performance, tailored data solutions. The role also involves ensuring CI/CD pipeline integration and effective communication of technical results to non-technical audiences.
Ideal candidates will have experience with AWS, Agile methods, and collaborative programming practices, with a strong background in data science and deployment in media-related projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Design machine learning and deep learning solutions that address business needs by translating them into data science terms.
- Develop and deploy microservices architecture in Python, using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI to ensure seamless integration with existing applications.
- Model complex data through graph databases (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune) and NoSQL databases (Redis).
- Extract and analyze metadata from various types of content (articles, audio, video) to enrich our databases and enhance personalized recommendations.
- Cross-team collaboration to translate business needs into high-performing and tailored algorithms.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, secure deployment with expertise in containerization and orchestration environments.
Required Skills
- AWS expertise: Proficiency with core services for data science and model deployment in production.
- Strong Python skills: Mastery of data science libraries, code versioning experience for effective collaborative work.
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data engineering methods for handling complex datasets.
- Proficiency with Flask or FastAPI frameworks for microservice-oriented application development.
- Graph modeling and querying expertise to manage graph databases such as Neo4j and Amazon Neptune.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, SAFe) and collaborative work environments (pair programming, code review).
- Effective communication skills: Ability to simplify and present complex analysis results to non-technical audiences.

- Fluent in French, English good level
