About the Role The Product Owner – Data & Reporting is responsible for defining and delivering data products, insights and reporting capabilities for amfori members and amfori teams. The role is customer-driven and ensures that data structures, reporting standards, and event-driven integrations are consistent, scalable, and aligned with business needs across all amfori products and services. The Product Owner is working closely with IT and business teams to deliver insights and analytics that meet business needs. Key responsibilities include translating business challenges into data requirements, managing the data product backlog, driving adoption, and ensuring the data is usable, trusted, and aligned with amfori strategic goals. Reports to the amfori IT Manager. Your Responsibilities Data Strategy & Management Own and manage the company-wide data strategy, governance framework, and data quality standards Responsible of setting up correct data structure across all products and services Set, enforce and approve standards for data schemas, ensuring consistency and interoperability, in collaboration with Product Teams who own the data glossary for their specific value streams Act as the approver of all new product data schemes, ensuring alignment with enterprise data architecture Ensure data products meet quality, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR). Support data governance initiatives and contribute to enterprise data strategy. Data Product Ownership Define and maintain the vision, roadmap, and backlog for data and reporting products Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder input. Ensure delivery of high-quality, user-centric dashboards, reports, and data services. Lead the development, maintenance, and scalability of the data platform. Oversee and guide development teams to implement best practices for data collection, structuring, and storage within all applications Ensure consistent data definitions, and reporting structures across amfori IT systems/ platforms Collaborate with members and external/ internal business stakeholders Promote a data-driven culture by advocating for self-service analytics and data literacy API & Event Stream Enablement Support the design and implementation of API and event stream integrations between business products, services, and customer-facing platforms. Ensure data flows are well-documented, secure, and aligned with business logic and reporting needs Work closely with integration architects and developers to ensure real-time data availability and traceability Responsible for the Data Warehouse/ current BI Platform and reporting needs across other platforms AI Strategy and exploration Define and maintain an AI Strategy for amfori Enable AI and machine learning initiatives at amfori by ensuring data readiness and accessibility Your Profile Master level degree or similar Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and event-driven design Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data platforms, and API ecosystems Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Agile mindset with experience in Scrum Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and validate solutions
