afarax is looking for a freelance Test Coordinator. We need you
The project:
Our client in the utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Test Coordinator to strengthen their team.

Responsibilities:
Support to Projects and Major Releases
Coordinate Market Integration Testing with DGO and suppliers.
Facilitate test processes and ensure clear communication with internal and external test teams.
Ensure all test-related agreements and procedures are correctly applied and respected.
Act as a key communication bridge between test teams and stakeholders (analysts, vendors, PCA, etc.).
Produce weekly and final test reports using ALM QC and Topdesk for management and stakeholders.
Manage defect and incident handling in ALM QC and Topdesk.
Test Coordination & Quality Assurance
Actively contribute to the maturity and continuous improvement of the test organisation.
Bridge Agile and non-Agile ways of working, maintaining a strong focus on quality.
Coordinate end-to-end testing across the entire product/project lifecycle, including handover to Service.
Organise and lead internal and external test-related meetings with testers, TestCo’s and stakeholders.
Steer internal vendors for defect analysis and bug fixing, organising follow-up meetings as needed.
Work in parallel across multiple projects or tracks when required.
Perform quality control on defects and ensure proper use of ALM QC according to internal procedures.
Tooling & Methodology
Use OT ALM QC as the main test logging and reporting tool; solid experience with reporting and querying is mandatory.
Follow defect management procedures and ensure correct prioritisation.
Agile testing experience is essential; the contractor is expected to arrange any additional training needed to support or enhance this capability.
Be capable of working independently using both waterfall and agile test approaches.
Provide recommendations to improve test strategies, methodologies and tools across the full product lifecycle.
Governance & Reporting
Provide frequent feedback to the Test Manager regarding processes, organisation, issues and improvements.
Organise alignment meetings with proper written preparation and documented outcomes:
Daily stand-ups with team members and TestCo’s
Defect follow-up or SCRUM meetings with vendors (daily/weekly)
Test/Domain Working Group meetings with DGO/market participants
Deliver weekly and monthly status reports to the Test Manager, Project Lead and Management.

Is this you?
Proven experience as a Test Coordinator
Proven experience in writing test strategies and defining test scenarios
Demonstrated expertise in formal testing methods and techniques
ISTQB Foundation certification or higher
Demonstrated knowledge of ALM QC usage
Demonstrated understanding of the Belgian Energy Sector
Proven experience as a Test Coordinator or Test Manager
Proven experience in coaching and steering a (test) team
Proven experience in designing and documenting test scenarios
Proven experience in drafting comprehensive test strategies
