Smals realiseert innovatieve ICT-projecten in e-government en e-health voor instellingen uit de sociale zekerheid en de gezondheidszorg. 'ICT for society' is voor Smals meer dan een slogan: alle projecten hebben een positieve maatschappelijke impact. Zo bouwt Smals mee aan het portaal van de sociale zekerheid en het eHealth-platform. Grensverleggende projecten zijn ons werkterrein: StudentWork, Orgadon, digitalisering van medische voorschriften, raadpleging van de historiek van je loopbaan, snellere doorstroming van testresultaten naar je huisarts Als projectleider beheer je sociaal geëngageerde IT-ontwikkelingsprojecten. Je haalt het beste uit je gemotiveerde team en werkt voornamelijk aan projecten in de sector van de sociale zekerheid en/of voor andere overheidsinstellingen. Samen met je medewerkers bouw je toepassingen die een impact hebben op miljoenen Belgen. Je coördineert de opvolging en de realisatie van de projecten rekening houdend met de planning en de vereiste kwaliteit. Je werkt met je team volgens de Prince2/Agile/Scrum-principes. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de algemene opvolging van de operationele planning en het budget, de coördinatie, prioritering en monitoring van de activiteiten van je ontwikkelingsteam (via dagelijkse vergaderingen, sprintplanning, retrospectieve evaluatie). Je zorgt ook voor het correctief en evolutionair onderhoud van de toepassingen die door je team in productie worden gebracht. Je rapporteert regelmatig over de voortgang van je projecten en communiceert met alle betrokken partijen. Samen met je collega's van toepassingsbeheer garandeer je dat de applicaties het verwachte niveau van klantenservice leveren. Als people manager ben je in staat je medewerkers te motiveren en een goede teamgeest te creëren waardoor je een goede samenwerking kan bevorderen. Tegelijkertijd help je je medewerkers graag bij hun ontwikkeling. Je coacht hen zodat ze hun competenties kunnen ontwikkelen. Door je bij onze dienst aan te sluiten, kan je jezelf verder ontplooien:
• Je leidt een jong en gemengd ontwikkelingsteam leiden bij de implementatie van nieuwe projecten en de voortdurende verbetering van bestaande applicaties, met de nadruk op gebruiksgemak bij elke ontwikkeling, met ondersteuning van het Service Design Usability-team van dezelfde dienst.
• Door de transversale aard van onze oplossingen, kom je in contact met veel andere Smals-teams, wat snel je kennis van onze klanten en collega's van andere teams zal uitbreiden.
• Je neemt deel aan het opstellen en bijwerken van productroadmaps en zorgt ervoor dat innovatie een belangrijk onderdeel is van onze oplossingen, mogelijk door het uitvoeren van POC's.
• Je verbetert continu je werkmethoden. Dankzij onze regelmatige synchronisaties herzien we onze methoden om de operaties te optimaliseren en te versoepelen en gemotiveerd te blijven voor acties met toegevoegde waarde. Onze dienst heeft onlangs het SAFe-framework aangenomen, met een reeks positieve effecten op planningskwaliteit en teamcohesie.
• Je komt terecht in een jonge en dynamische dienst, een echte gemeenschap die graag buiten kantoor samenkomt. Je hebt een universitair diploma of beschikt over een gelijkaardige ervaring en hebt ervaring in teammanagement en/of projectmanagement in een standaard ontwikkelingsomgeving (Angular, REST, Java). Dankzij je uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden kun je als geen ander een team motiveren, coachen, inspireren en ondersteunen. Je bent vertrouwd met Prince2 en Agile/Scrum methodologieën en bent in staat je team volgens deze principes te begeleiden. Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid, bent klant- en resultaatgericht en zorgt voor de ontwikkeling en coaching van je medewerkers. Je luistervaardigheid en je inzicht in de businessbehoeften zijn je grootste troeven. Je werkt methodisch en georganiseerd, je weet prioriteiten te stellen en je kan de verschillende betrokken partijen van een project coördineren. Ten slotte druk je je vlot uit in het Nederlands en het Frans. - Je krijgt een gevarieerde, uitdagende en maatschappelijk relevante job waarbij je bijdraagt aan IT-oplossingen die een belangrijke rol spelen in de samenleving.
