Design Tools Expert Service

Beschrijving van de opdracht:

Binnen de afdeling Infrastructuur is het team Quality & Technical Integration / Design Standards & Tools verantwoordelijk voor de tools die door ontwerpers worden gebruikt voor de ontwikkeling van plannen die de projectteams als basis gebruiken voor het uitvoeren van studies.

De Tools-pijler binnen dit team richt zich op de ontwerpsoftware. Momenteel omvat dit tools zoals MicroStation en OpenUtilities Substation van Bentley Systems, maar dit zal in de toekomst evolueren (onder andere in het kader van de introductie van BIM).

Beschrijving van de functie:

De Design Tools Specialist is verantwoordelijk voor:

Opleiding (ongeveer 50% van de tijd):

  • Organiseren en geven van opleidingen en workshops over ontwerpsoftware, zowel fysiek als op afstand.
  • Bijwerken (of ontwikkelen) van opleidingsmateriaal.

Ondersteuning (ongeveer 50% van de tijd):

  • Assisteren van gebruikers, oplossen van problemen en beantwoorden van vragen over de ontwerpsoftware.
  • Identificeren van opleidingsbehoeften bij directe collega's en interne klanten.
  • Feedback geven over problemen die gebruikers ervaren, zodat methodologieën indien nodig kunnen worden aangepast.

Toekomstige verantwoordelijkheden (afhankelijk van interesse en competenties):

  • Behandelen van complexere problemen: analyse, contacten met leverancierssupport en definiëren van tijdelijke oplossingen (workarounds).
  • Meewerken aan de ontwikkeling van ontwerpmethodologieën.
  • In samenwerking met de Business Analyst voor ontwerpsoftware en de softwareleveranciers: opvolgen, evalueren en valideren van nieuwe versies van gebruikte software.
  • Aanpassen en optimaliseren van ontwerpsoftware op basis van gebruikersbehoeften (configuratie, macro's, enz.).

Vereisten voor deze functie:

  • Beschikt over een diploma graduaat/bachelor (of heeft gelijkwaardige ervaring) in technisch tekenen of een technische specialisatie gerelateerd aan ontwerp (bijvoorbeeld burgerlijke bouwkunde, elektriciteit, automatisering).
  • Heeft ervaring met ontwerpsoftware en wil deze kennis inzetten om andere gebruikers te ondersteunen.
  • Heeft enkele jaren relevante ervaring.
  • Heeft uitstekende kennis van minstens één ontwerpsoftware (2D/3D).
  • Beheerst het Nederlands en Frans voldoende om trainingen te geven in beide talen (en om opleidingsmateriaal te ontwikkelen).
  • Heeft een goede kennis van Engels (vooral schriftelijk).
  • Beschikt over de volgende vaardigheden, essentieel voor ondersteuning en opleiding: Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, klantgerichtheid en probleemoplossend vermogen, teamgerichtheid en flexibiliteit (aanpassingsvermogen aan prioriteiten), nieuwsgierigheid en interesse in nieuwe technologieën in een evoluerende sector, beheersing van Microsoft Office.
