QA/quality Engineer

Your role As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you support the Quality Manager and work closely with the entire quality team as well as other departments. You become one of the driving forces behind our quality policy, with key objectives such as: food safety, efficiency, clear communication, and maximum customer satisfaction.
You will receive the training and guidance needed to grow within the role.
We also face an exciting challenge: a new MES/WMS/ERP implementation. You will help shape this rollout from a quality perspective — a unique opportunity to make a real impact.
What will you do?
Quality system
Contribute to the management of the quality system (HACCP, procedures, work instructions, …)
Analyse, interpret, and evaluate results
Actively initiate and follow up improvement actions
Audits
Guide external audits
Carry out internal audits and factory inspections
Training
~ Provide internal quality training to colleagues
Additional quality responsibilities can be defined together, based on your experience and interests.
Your profile
You hold a master’s degree (bioscience engineering, biochemistry, …).
You have initial experience in quality management within the food industry — this is a must.
You are fluent in Dutch and English; you can express yourself well in French orally.
You have good Excel skills and combine administrative tasks easily with time spent on the production floor.
You work both independently and in a team, and you communicate clearly.
You understand processes, think critically and analytically, and work with precision.
Experience with ERP and/or MES systems is a strong plus.
