To further support our growth in Belgium and make our Sustainability team even more impactful, we are looking for a Project Manager decarbonisation & climate.
Our enthusiastic Project Manager will:
- Build awareness and insight into the strategic added value of decarbonisation, on an executive level.
- Co-create strategies and roadmaps to net zero, by working with topical experts in the company and assisting them in making it happen.
- Provide insights and support to our clients on carbon accounting and target-setting (eg. based on the SBTI framework). Lead the change in carbon assessments by gathering data, analyzing it, leading meetings, and guiding clients.
- Support clients with a broader sustainable transformation, including shifting operating models and processes, governance, and reporting/information flows.
- further develop his/her soft skills in project management, coaching, report writing, communication and presentation.
Our future colleague's skills and background:
- Expertise in advising (C-level) clients on strategies related to sustainability.
- 7+ years' experience in carbon assessments, implementation and non-financial reporting frameworks (such as CDP, ESRS E1, Ecovadis).
- Prior knowledge in one or more of the following areas: decarbonization pathways, carbon accounting, GHG protocol, SBTi, ...
- Experience with identifying and assessing climate impacts and transition & physical risks is a plus
- Full working proficiency in Dutch and English (mandatory), and French is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, up to the upper management levels - with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to lead new business development by proactively identifying potential opportunities for new engagements and by responding to tenders.
- Ability to manage project teams and develop other team members by sharing knowledge, delegating work, and counselling.
