A Datacom Business Analyst is sought for a pivotal role within our clients Datacom team, focusing on the deployment of communication technologies and the management of assets through efficient business processes, databases, and tools. This position acts as a bridge between Datacom users and various stakeholders, aiming to enhance business process support through IT tools.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Scoping**: Analyze current tools and processes (AS IS), propose optimized solutions (TO BE), and conduct a gap analysis to streamline Datacom processes.
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and limitations.
**Solution Proposal**: Identify potential data management optimizations, evaluate available solutions, and develop an action plan.
**Requirements Articulation**: Serve as Datacom's point of contact for IT and other stakeholders, articulating requirements for tools impacting Datacom processes.
5+ years of experience in business process development and data modelling, preferably within the telecom industry.
Experience in collecting and clarifying requirements, with knowledge of ITIL, project management reporting (e.g., PMI, Prince2, Agile, SAFe6.0), and OSS/BSS.
Strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to quickly assimilate new technical information.
Knowledge of WAN and LAN networks and technologies (e.g., SDH, PDH, Routing, Switching, Fiber Cables) is preferred.
Team-player who is independent, methodical, and willing to share knowledge.
