**Material Engineering Assistant**

As a Material (and Adhesive) Engineering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation in our electro-acoustic products, supporting material development, and helping shape the future of sound. You will be a key player in the development and implementation of new technologies and adhesive solutions while collaborating across multiple teams to ensure excellence in quality, safety, and efficiency.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- **Innovate and Develop**: Collaborate with our Material Engineers on cutting-edge product development for premium automotive speakers and sound systems. Scout the market for competitive solutions and contribute your expertise to the innovation process.
- **Hands-On Lab Experiments**: Set up, execute, and refine world-class laboratory experiments, striving to improve testing methods, product quality, and manufacturing processes.
- **Solve and Support**: Join multidisciplinary teams to address any materials
- or adhesives-related production challenges, helping to maintain our leadership in quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- **Drive Continuous Improvement**: Research and introduce new technologies while enhancing existing processes, positioning PSS as a market leader in material engineering.

***Qualifications and skills**
- Educational background in **chemistry** or equivalent experience
- A **proactive team player** with a positive attitude and passion for excellence
- Excellent **time management** and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong **analytical and tracking skills**:

- Experience in any of the following** would be a plus**:

- Polymers** and polymer compounds (plastics)**:

- Material analysis** and composition detection techniques**:

- Adhesives** and adhesive processing**:

- Metals**, **rubbers**, or **foams
- IMDS** knowledge**
- **Languages**: Proficiency in written and spoken **English** is essential.
- **Personality**: You’re independent, creative, and solution oriented. You take initiative and thrive when given responsibility, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
