J&J Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Team lead Clinical Distribution, located in Beerse, Belgium.

As team lead within the Clinical Distribution team, you'll be part of Distribution Network team at DC Beerse within J&J DELIVER EMEA. This dynamic and motivated team of ~12 distribution specialists coordinates up to 250 clinical trials which are distributed via DC Beerse to more than 80 countries worldwide The team facilitates trial intake with our partners from Clinical Supply Chain, validates distribution requirements, secures set-up of master data, facilitates governance on trial performance, budget, and blocking issues. Team goal: first-time-right trial intake and continued on-time supply of life saving medication to our patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for hiring, training, mentoring and development of your team members to ensure that right proficiencies are available to cope with changing business dynamics and evolving technology. Builds a culture of trust and high engagement in their organization.
- With your team; responsible for translating individual clinical trial distribution needs into workable instructions for operations.
- Implement, govern and improve: performance management (logistic & quality metrics), forecast accuracy, workforce planning, budget
- Secure flawless implementation of GXP critical masterdata
- Secure safety, quality, process compliance and audit readiness.
- Actively engage throughout the network and collaborate on end2end improvements across departments.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering /supply chain/ business
- MBA, FPX, Lean Green Belt, APICS are considered a plus

Experience and Skills:
Required:

- +5 years working experience in an international environment
- Proven experience in a people management role
- Strong collaboration skills, able to influence without authority, good communication skills towards both the shop floor and senior management, able to lead in a diplomatic way.
- Expert change ambassador (process, organizations)
- Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)
- Language: Dutch & English.

Preferred:

- Experience with Pharma regulations, GMP, GDP
- Self-starter, confident to work independently.
- Pro-active and problem-solving attitude.
- Experienced logistics, customer service, manufacturing or planning
- Analytical skills (data analytics, business statistics, PowerBI )
- Experience working with ERP systems (eg. SAP)
