As our new Trade Activation Manager you will provide best in class support to our wider sales organization, working in collaboration with local marketing colleagues within Alcon’s brand management, key account managers and marketing departments of our key customers. In this customer facing role you can help to shape and deliver growth strategies in our joint business planning activities with all of our major customers in the region.

We require an individual with a detail orientated mindset, able to support on our operational marketing activities across both our branded and own label portfolio, while merging an internal objective with a customer strategy into a campaigns and activities that you will also implement and evaluate afterwards. Someone who likes to be in the heart of the action and knows how to manage and communicate easily with different stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience both the marketing side of the business with the commercial planning at major accounts.

Major Accountabilities:

- Translates international tools and strategies for Alcon brands into local actionable assets and campaigns for Key customers and helps to implement these at the customers in collaboration with their marketing teams.
- Participates to the annual marketing cycle by providing needs for key customers to positively influence marketing calender and key activities.
- Supports implementation of JBP’s by providing the right resources to customers (visuals, product information, campaigns, etc) with key customers and stakeholders (including marketing clubs)
- Manages the trade marketing budget in collaboration with KAM’s and finance.

Languages:

- Professional level of English required
- Native speaker in Dutch is required
- Professional level of French is a plus

**Experience**:

- Having managed successfully projects in a multi stakeholder environment is a must
- Previous experience in an international/multi-national marketing environment is a big plus
- Demonstrable experience working with third party creative or insight agencies is a plus

Competencies:

- Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills
- A hands on attitude with a strong will to succeed and deliver
