**Job Description Summary**: As the EMEA Distribution Centers IT business partner, you are the primary contact person and IT lead for the distribution center personnel and management team in our Belgium EDC campus with locations in Temse and Olen.

**Job description summary**:
**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Supervise the daily IT operations together with the local support team
- Work with users on new ideas to optimize the warehouse processes
- Meet regularly with the distribution center management team to plan and budget projects, and give them an accurate overview of the status of running initiatives and IT operations
- Work with external vendors and BD technology expert teams around the globe to make the distribution processes more digital and (artificially) intelligent
- Provide user training and knowledge sharing and ensure implemented technologies are well adopted and the business case is realized
- This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to develop strategic, portfolio and program management skills, and manage the broader picture, but still likes to be close to the action and have direct impact on the day to day operations of a very dynamic logistics environment in the medical technology industry

**About you**:

- Attitude is everything You have a great customer mindset and ‘can do’ attitude, but can put that in the broader strategic perspective for the company, doesn’t execute blindly and can say ‘no’ if required
- You’re a problem solver, not afraid to get your hands dirty and are willing to take ownership, also if the responsibility boundaries are less clear
- You are a real connector and orchestrator to arrive at great results spanning multiple teams and contributors internally and externally.
- You can work in a structured, methodical way and follow through on commitments
- Of course, a (first) experience in a similar role is a plus, but we are willing to invest in a young graduate that had a first job experience in implementing technologies such as ERP (SAP), WMS (Manhattan), WCS and shopfloor/data collection systems and related infrastructure. Also experience with working in a regulated environment, as well as working in a global context with many internal and external geographically spread teams is giving you an advantage. You speak fluently English; Dutch is nice but not a must.
