The Position

As datapreparator SL you are responsible for orientating and placing parts on the platforms of our Stereolithography 3D printers. You will start out with simple and small parts on smaller machines. During your training you will learn to tackle more complex parts and projects on larger printers and you will have the opportunity to learn a second 3D printing technology (PolyJet).

Your job entails preparing parts for optimal printing, planning these parts on different machines according to lead time, position, and material. You start the machines at the end of the day.

Being at the start of the process you are in contact with sales, maintenance, cleaning and finishing teams to get the best part to the customer. This means good communication is important.

Qualifications & Experience

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be working in the SLA dataprep team,
- Your main focus is on all SLA parts and by expansion PolyJet,
- You are responsible for orientating, grouping, and supporting of parts, slicing of builds and starting the machines,
- Your responsibility starts from the moment a part is uploaded to Streamics and ends with the moment you start the machine,
- You are responsible for the build planning of orders. You communicate delays or changes in the order to the Sales Department,
- You keep an eye on where the process can be improved or be made more efficient,
- You are involved with feasibilities for sales and/or finishing.

**Requirements**:

- Experience:

You have a good 3D insight
- You preferably have some experience in 3D modelling/CAD
- You have good planning and time management skills
- Effective communication, both in writing and presenting
- Technology Proficient
- Knowledge of Dutch and English is required
